this is a photo blog documenting my travels.. at times I’ve tried to post at least one every day, but it’s not always practical –(been lazy recently [March 2008])
originally from London, UK.. I am currently staying in Bangkok, Thailand and will probably be seeing a more of Southeast Asia over the coming months.
will be regularly updated with new photos and travel related thoughts, notes and anything else that takes my fancy and seems like it’ll fit
travelling with lots of electrical equipment presents some challenges, airport security staff give me a funny look “what is other machine?!” with a bag full of laptop, SLR camera, various lenses, external hard drives, other peripherals.. and it’s rather heavy.. and not forgetting the desktop computer & monitor packed into a suitcase.
erratic wireless internet, networking nightmares, overheating computers have caused a bit of trouble
internet is slow! all international bandwidth goes out of Thailand through 1 connection… which can get a bit clogged
the dates of the posts are taken from the EXIF data embedded into the photos, so every date is from when the photograph was taken, unfortuanately the times of all posts before September 2007 are not accurate (as I neglected to set the time on the camera!), but since Sept 07, every post/photo shows an accurate time of day & date that the picture was taken.
